Contact lenses that cast glaucoma medication over big periods are getting closer to reality, claim researchers working with laboratory animals. In their study, the lenses delivered the glaucoma remedy latanoprost (brand bigwig Xalatan) continuously to animals for a month link. It's hoped that some light of day such lenses will repay orb drops now old to treat the eye disease, the researchers said Dec 2013.
